Most lessons are held at Emerald City Ballroom in Dublin, Ohio. This spacious studio accommodates dancers in a comfortable setting with one of the largest dance floors in the area. Emerald City Ballroom also offers regular dance parties and events where you can enjoy your expertise in social and competitive settings.
You do NOT need a partner to take lessons.
During each 45 minute private instruction, you will dance with your instructor. This allows you to learn more quickly because your instructor can adjust according to what you need.
Group classes add the opportunity to dance with other class members. This is a great way to reinforce your skills as you learn to follow and lead more effectively.
Beginning dancers should plan to dress comfortably in clothing that allows freedom of movement. Shoes should have smooth or leather soles and fit snugly. Avoid athletic shoes.
Most dancers choose to invest in dance shoes. Your instructor can offer some coaching in what to look for.
